This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made through Ethiopian Flights, a trading name of Outlook Travel Ltd (Companies House No: 16776445), operating under ATOL number 3853 via Brightsun Travel (UK) Ltd.
Please read this policy carefully before making a booking. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
1.1 All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to reservations@ethiopianflight.co.uk or by calling +44 20 3355 7411.
1.2 Cancellation fees apply as per the terms agreed at the time of your initial booking, or as per the airline's own fare rules and conditions — whichever applies to your ticket.
1.3 Some airline fares are non-refundable. Where this is the case, it will be clearly communicated to you before your booking is confirmed.
1.4 An administration fee may be charged by Ethiopian Flights for processing any cancellation request, in addition to any airline-imposed charges.
2.1 In the unlikely event that we or the airline cancel your booking, you will be offered either an alternative flight or a full refund of the amount paid.
2.2 We are not liable for any consequential losses arising from a cancellation made by an airline or other third-party supplier.
3.1 Requests to change a booking (including date changes, name corrections or route amendments) must be submitted in writing.
3.2 Change fees are applicable as per the airline's fare conditions and/or the terms agreed at the time of booking.
3.3 Name changes are subject to the airline's own policy. Many airlines do not permit name changes and may require a new ticket to be purchased.
3.4 We cannot guarantee that any requested change can be accommodated, particularly at short notice.
4.1 Once a refund has been approved and confirmed by both Ethiopian Flights and the relevant airline or supplier, refunds will be processed within 2 to 3 weeks.
4.2 Refunds will be returned via the original payment method used at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.3 The refund timeline may be affected by the airline's own processing times, your bank's processing times, or other factors outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by third parties.
4.4 Administration and service fees charged by Ethiopian Flights are non-refundable in all circumstances.
4.5 Partial refunds may apply depending on the fare type, the timing of the cancellation request and any fees deducted.
If you fail to check in for your flight without prior notification to us, you will be treated as a no-show. No-show bookings are generally non-refundable as per airline policy. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to travel.
If your flight is cancelled by the airline, you may be entitled to a full refund or rebooking under the airline's own policy and applicable UK aviation regulations. We will assist you in processing this claim, however the final decision rests with the airline.
